One of our key objectives is to address topics that allow us to deepen our understanding of art, to question art in light of social and environmental issues, and to investigate its role in our society. Yucatan is a campus where we can put our research ideas into action through cross-border collaborations, such as social and site-specific art initiatives.
Every first Tuesday of the month, we open Casa Palomeque in Mérida (Yucatan) to welcome you to discuss art, culture, and current events in and outside of Yucatan. Our guests, including artists like Jorge Pardo, curators like Catherine Petitgas, and art collectives like Colectivo Amasijo, lead the conversation.
